65.2 Pounds of Drugs Turned in From Drug Drop Box

The Gerrish Twp. Police Department collected 65.2 pounds of drugs since April 19, 2017, which were turned in today to the Petoskey Tip of the Mitt Watershed Council for proper disposal.  We participate with other police agencies throughout Northern Michigan as part of the Drug Take Back Initiative and provide a secure and anonymous drug drop box for people to dispose of their unused/unwanted and expired medications properly.

Our drug drop box is accessible 24 hours a day, 7 days a week and is located just to the left of the front entrance of the police department building.  Thank you for continuing to make our community a safer place and helping our environment by utilizing our Drug Drop Box and properly disposing of all medications/drugs.
