Attempt to locate vehicle and Suspect’s from Malicious Destruction of Property (MDOP) complaint

Officers with the Gerrish Township Police Department are attempting to identify a vehicle and subjects who were involved in damaging a mailbox on Murphy Road in Gerrish Township.  The incident occurred on April 12th, 2017 around 6:00 P.M. Between Robinson Lake Road and Burdell.  A witness to the incident reported seeing a maroon colored “Work” Van with an orange ladder on top.  The van was traveling South on Murphy Road when the passenger (Male subject Mid 20’s to Early 30’s with dark hair and a beard) hit a mailbox with a large pipe.  The pipe was thrown out the window of the van and later collected by officer’s as evidence.  If you have any information that may assist officers identifying the vehicle or suspects involved in this incident please contact Officer Martin or Officer Scroggin.
