“The Boot” Project – Security System for Schools

You may see cans like this popping up throughout the local businesses and at community events.  Help the Roscommon County law enforcement and fire agencies fund local schools for “The Boot” Security System that gets installed on all classroom doors.  The Boot is a lock-down device that is simple and strong and is installed inside the door of each classroom that can be quickly and easily activated in emergency situations.  Each unit costs $250 for a complete install.  This Adopt-A-Door project is being sponsored by the Roscommon County Community Foundation through the “Friends For Safe Schools” fund.

Please consider making a donation and help sponsor this very worthwhile project…help keep safety in and danger out!

Donation forms/brochures are available at the Gerrish Township Police Department, the Roscommon County Sheriff’s Office, Roscommon County Community Foundation office or at any of the Roscommon Area Public Schools.  ANY DONATION IS APPRECIATED!
